July 24th

The championship has finished

The wind was low today, but the championship ended with all 15 races done. Everything took place normaly and competitors were able to attend the closing ceremony at 8:00pm. A few delegations had to leave earlier but many are still in the club enjoying a wonderful party.

The first three places in each cathegory were the following:

General:

  • 1º Wei Ni (China)
  • 2º Paul Snow-Hansen (New Zealand)
  • 3º Eugenio Díaz (Spain)

Seeding changed

Argelia is our 52nd registered country!!!

We are proud to announce that one of our sailors, Edgar Diminich, has turned out XXIIIº South American Champion in recent event held in Algarrobo, Chile. Pedro Velez and Kiko Quintero, also from Ecuador, got the third and fourth place respectively. This is the first time Ecuador gets such astounding results and that encourages us to do our best for the World Championship to become a success. Results
